About Girders and Stanchions:

Sadie is a teenage girl that can only imagine her place in the world. She is at the point in her life where she questions everything. She contemplates how her actions will affect people around her whether she knows them or not – She was ready. Girders and Stanchions by P.J. McGonagle is a play about the search for answers even when you might not know the questions.

About the Author:




P.J. McGonagle is a native Chicagoan and armature playwright. He has written a handful of short pieces, most notably A Life Less Meaningful, the first play featured in the Read'n'Hump Series by Tympanic. P.J. is an 8th Grade History teacher on Chicago’s Southwest Side and resides in Edison Park with his wife, Tympanic Company Member Chrissy McGonagle, and cat, Nugget.
