Playwright: Alex Lubischer

Alex Lubischer is a Chicago playwright, dramaturg, and freelance writer. His plays includeTHE XYLOPHONE WEST (The Fine Print Theatre Company), SURVEY NO. 5 (Collaboraction),ACTS OF CONTRITION (awarded Best New Play Lab Script at the Great Plains Theatre Conference), andBOBBIE CLEARLY, which was recently workshopped in a writers group at Victory Gardens and at Actors Theatre of Louisville. He is currently developing a new play with Interrobang Theatre Project. In 2010, Lubischer cut his teeth writing one acts for a company of student actors and directors in the Theatermakers Intensive at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. One acts written and performed at the O’Neill includeTHE PARAKEET JOB, THE STAR OF ASH HOLLOW, and OKINAWA, which has gone on to be performed at Playing in Progress in Seattle, as well as Oberlin College.Lubischer is the former Literary Manager of Route 66 Theatre Company, and most recently dramaturged its world premiere ofThe Downpour. In addition to his solo projects, he is writing the book forNEXT STOP: A NEW CHICAGO MUSICAL with fellow Chicago playwrights Alice Austin, Aaron Carter, and Danny Bernardo.As a journalist, his articles have appeared in Windy City Times, Chicago Collection,and Chicago Health Magazine.  Director: Spenser Davis

Spenser Davis is a director, actor, playwright, and title-collector. Previously, he has directed the Midwest Premiere of FROM WHITE PLAINS (Broken Nose Theatre), the Abbie Fest XVI entry AWFUL NIGHT OF CRAP PART 3, and various festivals that include Bechdel Fest 2 (also BNT), All in the Timing (Stage 773), and the upcoming events Arcitext 2015 (Arc Theatre) and Indie Boots (Mudgeonsoul). Recent acting credits include THE COWARD (Stage Left), THE PRESIDENT (Oracle), MY FIRST TIME (BNT), DYLAN (Red Theater) and the upcoming TIGER AT THE GATES (Promethean). His plays have been produced at American Theater Company, Chicago Dramatists, Theater Wit, Mary-Arrchie, Collaboraction, Second City Chicago, the Alumnae in Toronto, and in colleges across the country. He lives with his girlfriend and zero pets.

John O Lewis III (Des) 

John O Lewis III attended DePaul University's Theater School. And after an 8 year hiatus decided to make his return to the art he loves. After his return with Broken Nose Theater's From White Pains (2014), he has been active in the acting world and is looking forward to many more exciting opportunities!
