The Props of Social Creatures

Tympanic's very own Casey Bentley took a few moments to answer some questions about her role as Prop Master and why she would want to be involved in our eerie production of Social Creatures. Tympanic: You are Tympanic's resident Prop Master. What does that entail and how did you get into props?

Casey: Being Tympanic's prop master basically means I'm a horder with a title! Just kidding... kinda. I house and log all of Tympanic's prop stock and am generally the go-to for the company in terms of prop needs.

Tympanic: What drew you to design Social Creatures?

Casey: This show has an eerie tone and message. I enjoy eerie.

Tympanic: Social Creatures is a prop heavy show. How did that challenge you?

Casey: It doesn't seem like it is, but a group of people holed up in a space are going to have stuff. The most challenging build probably had to do with the rats (spoiler alert).

Tympanic: Are you a horror fan? Have any Favorites?

Casey: I am a horror fan. My go-to horror movie/novel is IT.

Tympanic: Why should people see Social Creatures?

Casey: It's a great macabre show for the Halloween season. There will be blood (spoiler again).
